From launching two jewelry companies in high school to managing and buying for a couture retail store on Madison Avenue to owning her own wholesale multi-line fashion rep showroom, she lives and breathes fashion. When she was president of her wholesale rep company, Karen introduced hundreds of stores to up-and-coming designers from around the globe. She launched numerous brands into companies like Barneys New York and Henri Bendel. She has coordinated over 150 fashion trade shows, and visited international style cities like Barcelona and Tel Aviv for fashion shows and design meetings. She has also graced the front row at New York Fashion Week. Karen loves bringing people into her “inner fashion circle” so they can share the excitement of this amazing industry. She has a great eye for style and loves sharing her vision and expertise so people can find exactly what they’re looking for. Karen is based in New York City, which gives her access to some of the best fashion and accessories designers in the world. Fashion NYC is not only her expertise, it's her passion. The tours are broken down into small groups, where Karen will personally escort you into a private world usually reserved for boutique owners and fashion insiders.
